Spirit of the North
For as long as I can remember, wolves have captured my imagination. They are intelligent, resilient, deeply social animals, but they also carry a sense of mystery that has inspired stories and legends throughout the North.
In Spirit of the North, a lone wolf stands beneath the northern lights, his breath visible in the cold night air. The painting is less about a specific animal and more about a feeling—the sense of wonder that comes from standing beneath a vast northern sky and feeling connected to something larger than yourself.
Like many of my wolf paintings, this piece is not simply about wildlife. It is about presence, freedom, and the enduring spirit of the North.
